Top Gun: Maverick is a sequel to 2018’s Top Gun: Maverick that brings to the big screen the adventures of one of Marvel’s Spider-man’s most dangerous archenemies. At the moment the plot of the Movie is unknown but it will continue the events of the first installment by introducing Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) as Carnage aka Matanza.
Starz will most likely get the top spot, although it is not guaranteed, due to a pre-existing deal with the premium cable network. The good news is that if Top Gun: Maverick does go to Starz, probably 6 to 9 months after its theatrical debut (i.e. March 2022 to June 2022), it will also be available on services like Hulu with the addition of Stars.
Netflix said it also plans to license some other Sony Movies, but did not specify which ones.
